Sofia Sestili netted 18 points to spark the Denis Morris Reds to a 45-21 victory over the Ridley Tigers in the consolation quarter-finals of the Fourth Annual 17³Ô¹ÏÍø Girls Basketball Tournament played Wednesday at Ridley College.
Also scoring for the Reds were: Jamie Kamendy 6; Nevaeh Jones 6; Shekinah Soji 6; Tessa Pingue 4; and, Isabella Bodnaris 2.
Replying for the host Tigers were: Coco Reynolds 9; Toni Osamiluyi 6; Avery Katzman 2; Angela Jiao 2; Nisa Malik 2; Darah Akpan 1; and, Nadia Trites 1.

Golden Eagles 47 Raiders 34
Kaydence Hales poured in 28 points to lead the Thorold Golden Eagles past the Holy Cross Raiders 47-34 in a consolation round quarter-final game.
Also scoring for Thorold were: Kyla Gallant 6; Keaira Austin 6; Charlee Rowland 3; Layla Gallant 2; and, Makenna MacCormack 2.
Scoring for Holy Cross were: Grace Vani 16; Claire Martires 7; Leah Briscall 7; and, Sara Pindado 4.Ìý
Redcoats 40 Lynx 17
Kiera Teske netted 25 points as the Governor Simcoe Redcoats defeated the St. Jean-de-Brebeuf Lynx 40-17 in the consolation quarter-finals Wednesday at Ridley College.
Also scoring for the Redcoats were: Breanna Peters 5; Lily Hoogendam 4; Bella Johnson 2; Madison Hollingsworth 2; and, Josie Joyce.
Scoring for the Lynx were: Kylie Duthie 6; Chloe MacKay 4; Genevieve Fry 3; Alexis Chevalier 2; and, Isabella Zenga 2.
Governor Simcoe Ìýmeets Saint Francis Ìýin the consolation semifinals Thursday at 4:30 p.m. at Ridley College.
Phoenix 37 Patriots 30
Fifteen points by Riyanna Chahoud helped the Saint Francis Phoenix defeat the Saint Paul Patriots 37-30 in the 17³Ô¹ÏÍø consolation quarter-finals Wednesday at Ridley College.
Also scoring for Saint Francis were: Kaylee Giesbrecht 10; Rozlyn Ciocca 5; Alicia Kryzanowski 4; and, Kylie Ryall 2.
Saint Paul was led by Sam Dino with 13 points.
Also scoring for the Patriots were: Meredith Marrie 6; Lonpe Olusanya 5; Serena Gigliotti 4; and, Fallon Tendam 2.
